The Canino School of Engineering Technology at SUNY Canton is seeking to fill a temporary appointment for an Instructional Support Assistant to serve the Physics courses, Game Design, and Development (B. Tech.), Computer Information Systems (AAS) and Information Technology (B.Tech.) programs. The position will begin in the fall semester of 2019. The successful candidate will assist faculty members from these programs. The position will be responsible for efficient operations of assigned computer labs, assisting lab activities in various gaming, computer and Physics courses, maintaining and securing lab property, helping students exercise hands-on work outside of class time as well as other duties assigned. This position is a one-year temporary 10-month appointment. Required Qualifications: Associate degree from an accredited institution. Preferred Qualifications: bachelor degree with strong communication / technical writing skills, and skills in computer hardware/software, programming, networking, physics topics, and game development software.
